BC Property Management Software Checklist

1. Check it produces a BC tenancy agreement with the current standard terms, and the RTB's own forms (RTB-7, RTB-30, RTB-33, RTB-27) filled from tenancy data.
2. Check it applies 2.2% for 2027 increases without rounding up.
3. Check it counts three full months of notice, not 90 days.Ontario's 90-day rule is a different count.
4. Check each deposit is recorded by type, with the 15-day return clockrunning from the later of the tenancy ending and the forwarding address in writing.
5. Check deemed receipt: mail on the fifth day, email to an address for service on the third.
