I'm not a landlord. I've never managed a building. But the landlords and property managers I talked to all said the same thing: the existing tools were either too expensive, too generic, or both. Yardi and AppFolio are built for portfolios with hundreds of doors. Spreadsheets and group chats are what you fall back on when you have three.

So Tenon10 started as a simple question: what would the platform look like if you built it for the 1–25 unit owner who just wants compliance, rent, and a tenant app that doesn't make them look amateur? The answer became the product — RTA-aware leases, N-form library, mobile rent collection, and a tenant portal that feels native instead of bolted on.

The name comes from the tenon joint — one of the oldest, strongest connections in woodworking. Two pieces interlock, and the joint holds because each side fits the other. That's the rental relationship we want to support: landlord and tenant both treated as first-class users of the same system.
