- Confirm both sides want it.Neither of you can be made to sign.
- Settle anything beyond the date and time first, such as rent for a partial month, in writing signed at the same time.
- Remember what signing closes off.You cannot then claim compensation for the tenant ending a fixed term early.
- Do not sign it at the start of the tenancy.A mutual agreement cannot set a move-out date at move-in.
- Use the current form (2025/07 version) from the RTB.
