AGREEMENT-TO-END — Agreement to End the Tenancy

A written agreement, signed by the landlord and every tenant, that the tenancy ends on a day they choose (Residential Tenancies Act, SA 2004, c R-17.1, s. 20(1)). Alberta publishes no form for it. It is not a notice to end the tenancy.

How to fill it in

The form above takes you through these steps, one at a time.

  1. Before you sign

This is an agreement, not a notice. Neither the landlord nor a tenant has to sign it. Once the landlord and every tenant have signed, the tenancy ends on the day stated.

  2. The landlord, the tenants and the premises

  3. When the tenancy ends

  4. Signatures

You sign first. Each tenant on the lease is then asked to sign in their account.
